New KeyBank manager: Lorenzo Jaravata has been named a relationship manager in the retail banking area at KeyBank's Mendenhall Valley Center.
Jaravata, whose job is to provide loan services and investment referrals, previously worked for 10 years at the Sumitomo Bank as a letters of credit specialist.
KeyCorp., based in Cleveland, does business in 46 states and has assets of approximately $80 billion.
Shawn Paul joins Re/Max: Shawn C. Paul has joined the real estate team at Re/Max of Juneau.
The longtime Juneau resident said he will focus on young families looking for their first home. ``Your first home is the most crucial financial decision you will ever make,'' Paul said. ``There's probably no better moment than delivering house keys to someone you went to school with, knowing that they put their faith in you and you delivered.''
Re/Max is a full-service brokerage dealing in residential, commercial and industrial sales and leasing.
ATA buys Anchorage RV park: Alaska Travel Adventures of Juneau has purchased a fourth RV park, the Ship Creek Landings RV Park in Anchorage.
Ship Creek Landings is near downtown Anchorage, with 150 sites served by water, electricity and sewer. ``Its proximity to downtown shopping and entertainment in Anchorage is consistent with our `Close to Where You Want to Be' RV park positioning,'' said Bob Dindinger, president and CEO of Alaska Travel Adventures.
The company already owned Denali Riverside RV Park, Skagway Mountain View RV Park and Hanousek Park in Skagway.
Planner for Douglas Indian Association: Harold Frank Jr. has been hired as environmental protection planner for the Douglas Indian Association.
Frank, a graduate of the University of Idaho, has held U.S. Forest Service positions in Yakutat and Thorne Bay, and was a lands manager for Kootznoowoo.Denali Alaskan rated excellent: Denali Alaskan Federal Credit union, which has a branch in Juneau, received a ``four star/excellent'' rating recently from an independent research firm.
Bauer Financial Reports praised ``Denali Alaskan's commitment to fiscal responsibility and performance.'' The semi-annual award is based on an analysis of financial data filed with federal regulators.
