Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Warrant arrests:

At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 31, was arrested on Glacier Spur Road on an outstanding $2,000 Juneau Alaska State Troopers warrant citing probation revocation for failure to complete court-ordered substance-abuse treatment. The original charges were drunken driving and driving while his operator's license was suspended. The suspect was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vehicle accidents:

Both the Juneau Police Department and Capitol City Fire & Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident that occurred just before noon Wednesday near the University of Southeast Alaska. A 1998 Ford Escort four-wheel drive lost control on the Glacier Highway near the Auke Bay laboratory and struck a state snowplow truck. The Escort was totaled (with damage estimated at $12,000) and had to be towed. The snowplow truck's damage was estimated at $2,000. The driver, a woman, 38, and her daughter were transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for medical evaluation. Bartlett administrator Bob Valiant said the pair was treated and released.

Shortly after 1 p.m. police officers responded to a vehicle accident with no serious injuries. The accident occurred near the Alaska Marine Highway building, 1591 Glacier Avenue. One vehicle attempted to pull out from Behrends Avenue and was struck by another vehicle. The first vehicle received an estimated $1,000 in damage; the second vehicle, $500 damage.
