Tlingit Language Class is offered three periods a day as an exploratory class at Dzantik'i Heeni Midle School. Mork makes use of the Total Physical Reponse method of teaching, for which teachers were trained by Sealaska Heritage Foundation. It is an active learning method wherein the teacher shows and names a task or an action and the students then imitate the task or action while repeating descriptive words or phrases in Tlingit.
