Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Shortly before 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Merida Rodriguez, 46, was arrested on Churchill Way for drunken driving. Police lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Friday, Ryan Judson, 17, was arrested on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive for drunken driving. He was also charged with reckless endangerment of his passenger, criminal mischief, minor consuming of alcohol and reckless driving. The vehicle was impounded, and a male passenger, 17, was released at the scene.
Capitol City Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a small fire in a restroom at the Nugget Mall at 3:23 p.m. Thursday. The fire was out on arrival, firefighters said.
About 11 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Village Street. One vehicle sustained about $5,000 damage. Details about the other vehicle were not available from police. No one was injured.
About 1:45 p.m. Thursday, a 1989 Mustang operated by a man, 22, was rear-ended near the intersection of Mendenhall Loop and Mendenhall Mall Road by a 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup operated by a man, 18. The Mustang suffered $900 damage; the Dodge, $2,000. No one was injured.
About 8:30 p.m. Thursday, a girl, 17, lost control of the Mazda minivan she was driving outbound on Egan Drive at Norway Point. The minivan was totaled, and towed from the scene. There were no injuries.
About 10:30 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Ferry Way. A man, 30, reported a 1998 GMC van was hit-and-run while parked between 8:30 and 10 a.m. The vehicle sustained a small dent and scratch to the side sliding door.
