Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Theft:

• At 8:10 a.m. Thursday, a citizen notified police that a $5 statue had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle near Spruce Street.

• At 11:45 a.m. Thursday, a 45-year-old man reported $10 in change was stolen from his unlocked vehicle near West Willoughby Avenue.

Vandalism:

• At 2:26 a.m. Thursday, a citizen reported graffiti on the side of a building near South Seward Street.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported a bus was in a ditch near Mendenhall Loop Road and Mint Way. There were no injuries and a tow truck assisted the bus.

• A 30-year-old woman was cited for speeding at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday near inbound Egan Drive and Fred Meyer after she crashed her 2001 GMC into a 49-year-old man's 2003 Ford. The vehicles each sustained $4,000 in damage.

• At 5:19 p.m. Wednesday near Del Rae Road, a 31-year-old man reported his 2006 Dodge pickup truck was rear-ended by a 19-year-old woman's 1988 Toyota Forrester. The Dodge sustained an unknown amount of damage to its left rear bumper. The Toyota was not damaged.
