Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Frank Gillespie, 59, on charges of drunken driving, refusing a chemical test and driving with a suspended license. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Theft:

• About 150 gallons of heating oil was reported stolen at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday from the 4000 block of Delta Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. The oil was valued at $392.

• Police arrested a man, 18, on a charge of shoplifting at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. They booked him at the state prison.

• At 3:34 p.m. Tuesday, a small amount of cash was reported stolen sometime the previous night from a Dodge Durango in the 1100 block of Eighth Street downtown.

Vandalism:

• A man reported at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday that he discovered Thursday morning the rear window of his 1991 Ford was broken in the 3700 block of Amalga Street in the Valley.

• A woman reported at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday that the passenger side of her new 2005 Jeep Liberty was scratched with a key on Tongass Boulevard in the Valley.

Other:

• Police cited a man, 53, at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday on Distin Avenue downtown on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender.

Vehicle accidents:

• A woman, 18, reported that the 2001 Kia she was driving struck a parked truck at 7:19 p.m. at Aspen Avenue and Mendenhall Boulevard.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.

Calls related to alcohol: 2.
