ANCHORAGE - Alaska State Troopers say they found 12 people out of compliance with the state's sexual offender registration laws.

The discovery took place during a recent review throughout villages in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region.

The sweep found individuals whose ages ranged from 30 to 76 and who were not following the Alaska Sex Offender Registry rules.

Troopers say charges will be forwarded to the district attorney's office.
