FAIRBANKS - An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 was felt in the Talkeetna area, about 113 miles north of Anchorage.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the quake was felt at a depth of about 43 miles Monday morning.
This comes nearly 24 hours after Valdez and Glennallen felt a 4.3 magnitude quake.
There were no reports of damage from either earthquake.
Neither earthquake had any link to Mount Redoubt, which is more than 200 miles to the southwest, and has been under 24-hour watch by the Alaska Volcano Observatory since Jan. 23.
Geologists have been expecting the first eruption from Mount Redoubt in nearly 20 years.
