A Wheel-a-thon will be held this weekend at the Canvas, with the goal of creating 200 unique bowls for the Glory Hole’s Empty Bowls fundraiser.
Anyone who knows how to throw a bowl on a wheel is invited to contribute to the cause by coming in from from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19. Those wanting to help with trimming should stop by from from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20.

Also at the Canvas this weekend: the Woosh Kinaadeiyi Poetry Slam with Christy NaMee Eriksen and Nahaan. Held every third Friday from 6-8:30 p.m,, the poetry slam and open mic is open to performing artists of all varieties, and features DJ Manu on the turntables. Suggested donation is $5. Pie in the Sky will be open.
