A 1989 Dodge driven by a 51-year-old man sustained $1,500 in damage and a 2003 Dodge driven by a 39-year-old man sustained $2,500 in damage after an accident at 8:09 p.m. Friday on 10th Street. No injuries were reported.
A Toyota Camry driven by a 59-year-old man struck a Toyota Tercel driven by a 26-year-old man at 8:29 a.m. Saturday at Highland Drive and Egan Drive. No injuries were reported, but the Tercel sustained $1,500 in damage, and the Camry sustained $2,500 in damage.
A Lexus struck a parked Chevrolet truck at 11:41 a.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of North Douglas Highway. No injuries were reported, and the amount of the damage was unknown.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on a charge of violating the conditions of his release at 4:03 a.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Driving while intoxicated:
William D. Kasparoff, 36, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 9:40 p.m. Friday on Amalga Street. The vehicle was impounded, and he was lodged at the state prison.
Roxie Starr, 52, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment at 12:03 a.m. Saturday on 10th Street. Her vehicle was impounded, and she was lodged at the state prison.
A 26-year-old man reported at 10:39 p.m. Friday the theft of a backpack containing an iPod and clothing from a locked vehicle in the 100 block of Egan Drive. Estimated value was $770.
A person reported at 11:47 a.m. Saturday the theft of a jacket and silver Audiovox cell phone in Juneau. Estimated value was $360.
Two 17-year-old boys were cited and released on charges of underage drinking at 6:05 p.m. Friday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.
A 15-year-old girl was cited and released on a charge of underage drinking at 12:53 a.m. Saturday in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue in Lemon Creek.
A Subaru was reported vandalized at 12:33 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue. In addition to the $500 in damage, someone stole $30 from it.
A Dodge was reported vandalized at 3:26 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Fish Creek Road. Damage was estimated at $500.
