Heating fuel stolen from Fairbanks church

FAIRBANKS - Fairbanks police are investigating the theft of heating fuel from a downtown Fairbanks church.

Police said the Friendship Baptist Mission was hit by burglars twice last week.

Sgt. Robert Thompson said 100 gallons of heating fuel was stolen in a burglary that was reported Thursday.

The church was hit again over the weekend, but no fuel was stolen.
