Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


A man reported at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday from Sunset Street that his son's black vertical mountain bike with yellow trim, valued at $150, was stolen from his yard.

At 3:20 p.m. Tuesday a purse was reported stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Floyd Dryden Middle School. A window in the vehicle was smashed.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A woman reported at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday from Third Street that Gastineau Elementary School was vandalized over the weekend. Vandals caused $300 in damage.

Underage drinking:

Two 16-year-old boys were cited for underage drinking at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday near West Willoughby Avenue. There were released to their guardians.

Hit-and-run incidents:

At 4 p.m. Tuesday police received a report of a black Suburban that backed into a parked 1991 Buick LeSabre, damaging the bumper, near West Ninth Street. The Suburban left the scene without notifying the LeSabre's owner.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a stolen banner from Juneau-Douglas High School. The banner, reported stolen Feb. 8, has a white background with "Juneau-Douglas High School" written on the back and the words to the school song written in red and black. The estimated cost of the banner is $2,000.
