Mining benefits everyone - period

I suggest Eric Lee of the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council (Wednesday's Juneau Empire) look around and see just how his life is enriched by mining.

Sound off on the important issues at

Cars, boat motors, hooks (to make a living), fishing weights and on and on. Miners are every bit as concerned about the environment as the greenest person out there. We all live on the same globe and have the same interests.

Radicals in any conversation have a habit of being a "bit much." I've said it before, but here it is again - if it can't be caught, and it can't be grown, it must be mined.
