JUNEAU - The Red Cross will host their third annual Hawaiian Luau Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
The event is a fundraiser for disaster victims in Southeast. Diaster victims can include those who have been left homeless by a house fire, as well as victims of other tragic events.
Culinary delights for the evening include roast Hawaiian-style pig, chicken hekka and sticky rice. All the food will be prepared by a group of local men who are originally from Hawaii.
The nights entertainment includes hula troupe Halau O'Kamali'ie Keakau, who will give a hula lesson in addition to a performance, and also performances by Samoan and Tongan dancers.
Tickets cost $40 for one and $75 for two and can be purchased at Hearthside Books or by calling the local Red Cross office at 463-5713.
Dress is "aloha casual."
