Former Juneau resident Charles Tuell Jr., 42, died Jan. 25, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was born Aug. 14, 1959, in Juneau and lived here until 1976. He attended Juneau schools through his sophomore year in high school. He and his family then moved to Stilwell, Okla., where his father resided. He graduated from Stilwell High School, where he played football his junior and senior years. His hobbies included fishing and wood carving.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Edna Tuell, Stilwell, Okla., and Joseph and Ann Guy, Juneau; and uncles Eugene (Gene) Durkee and Jack O. Lee Jr., Juneau.
He is survived by his parents Charles and Joanne (Guy) Tuell, Stilwell, Okla.; brothers Joseph Tuell and wife Vicki, Stilwell, Okla., and William (Billy) Tuell, Stilwell, Okla.; sister Nancy Davidson and husband Brian of North Carolina; aunts Delores Holloway and Yvonne Martin, Juneau; several other aunts and uncles in Oklahoma; and nephews and cousins in Oklahoma and Juneau.
Services were held Jan. 29, 2002, at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell. Interment was at Blackwood Cemetery, Stilwell.
