The U.S. Navy warships O'Callahan and Bradley slip into their berths in 1988 at the U.S. Coast Guard dock. The ships were Garcia-class destroyer escorts on their final deployment for the U.S. Navy when they came to Juneau. Both vessels were decommissioned later that year after a final voyage in the Northern Pacific. The O'Callahan was leased to Pakistan. After being sold to Brazil, the Bradley became the Pernambuco.
