Two men ram police vehicle, later arrested

Posted: Sunday, February 21, 2010

ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage police spokesman says two men under investigation by the Anchorage vice squad rammed their car into a police vehicle occupied by an undercover officer and sped off.

Police set out after the men Friday night and soon found their car abandoned. A police dog team took up the chase and two men were soon arrested.

Lt. Dave Parker said the undercover officer was not injured. Parker says the officer was working a felony drug operation involving the two men when they were apparently alerted to the officer's presence.

No names were released.
