National Guard to honor members

ANCHORAGE - The Alaska Air National Guard is planning a big ceremony in Anchorage to honor members throughout its 58-year history.
The event is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the West High School auditorium.
Organizers say some of those to be honored are full-time members. But many also serve one weekend a month and another 15 days throughout the year.
