Sixteen teams from Juneau, made up of 138 kids in grades five through eight, took part in the 2011 Triple Threat Basketball Tournament last weekend in Haines. The eighth-grade girls’ team won its bracket, as did the sixth-grade boys. The eighth-grade and seventh-grade boys’ teams, as well as the seventh-grade and sixth-grade girls’ teams, each finished in second place.
