Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Shortly after midnight Wednesday, Todd Tolbert, 32, was arrested by Juneau police officers for drunken driving on Douglas Highway. He additionally was charged with driving while his operator's license was revoked. He was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


About 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, a woman, 42, reported from the Prospector Hotel that her Columbia parka and at the same time a coat and wallet (containing $22) of an acquaintance were stolen. Alcohol was involved in the incident.

Vehicle accidents:

About 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 40, was arrested near the intersection of Egan Drive outbound and Riverside drive after police responded to a two-vehicle accident. The Nissan pickup operated by the man ran into the rear door of a Juneau taxi operated by a man, 52. The suspect was lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved in the incident.

About 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Merchants Wharf. A woman, 18, driving a 1990 Mazda pulled out into a 1985 Dodge truck operated by a man, 49. The woman was cited for careless driving. The man was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Damage was estimated at $7,000 for the Mazda and $2,000 to the Dodge truck.

Hit-and-run incidents:

Shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, a woman, 22, reported her 2001 Dodge Neon hit-and-run in the parking lot on Riverside Drive. Her vehicle sustained damage to both the driver-side front door and the passenger side door.


Five minutes before midnight Wednesday, a man, 18, was arrested on Mendenhall Loop Road for driving while his license was revoked. He was lodged at state prison.
