Outstandingly helpful

As a Juneau resident for 38 years, I have had experience with Juneau teachers and school principals for both of my children and for two grandchildren. Since the Empire items deal with the Mendenhall River School let me first say that I've considered Principal Diana Gifford outstandingly helpful and encouraging to my youngest granddaughter, her mother and me. I can't overstate the help and inspiration our little girl received from their first grade teacher Myrna Allen. All of her teachers for five years at M.R.C.S. I rate highly. I would commend Richard Fagnant. Sadie, now a seventh grader in another state, says she is still dealing with subject matter she first met in his fifth grade class.
