Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Gloria Elaine Gray, 55, was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 9:33 a.m. Thursday on Teal Street. She also was charged with reckless endangerment. Gray was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Dawnmarie Barker, aka Dawn Piantedosi, 30, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Ferry Way at 12:15 a.m. today and lodged at the state prison.


At 8:38 a.m. Thursday, a full-size gray van left a gas station on Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area without paying for gas.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

At 8:14 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported the rear window of her 1994 Ford Escort, parked on David Street, was broken overnight.

At 4:08 p.m., a caller reported her mailbox on Thane Road was broken into the previous night.

Vehicle accidents:

A 23-year-old man was cited for driving without a license following a one-vehicle accident Thursday on the 6000 block of North Douglas Highway. The accident, which occurred at 7:48 a.m., caused about $1,500 damage to the man's 1993 Ford Aerostar and also caused minor damage to a guardrail.

At 8:13 a.m. Thursday, a 2002 Chevrolet Tracker operated by a 34-year-old woman struck a 1999 Jeep operated by a 37-year-old woman on inbound Egan Drive at Sunny Point. The vehicles sustained minor damage; officers notified the Department of Transportation about hazardous road conditions.

At 8:21 a.m. Thursday, the 34-year-old woman involved in the above collision got into a one-car accident with her 2002 Chevrolet Tracker on inbound Egan Drive at Scenic View Point. She was cited for basic speed. At the same time, officers observed a one-car accident involving a 1985 Toyota operated by a 22-year-old.

At 10:18 a.m. Thursday, a 1994 Ford truck operated by a 34-year-old man ran into a stop sign at the intersection of Glacier Highway and Mendenhall Loop Road.

At 11:32 a.m. Thursday, a 1987 Toyota pickup operated by a 23-year-old woman struck the back of a school bus on Back Loop Road at Goat Hill. The pickup sustained $2,000 damage and the bus sustained $500 damage. The woman was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance.

Hit-and-run incidents:

At 12:35 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported that her 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser was hit earlier in the day at the Mendenhall Mall, causing $1,000 in damage.

At 1:37 p.m., a caller reported that her 1983 Ford Bronco was hit on Teal Street. The vehicle sustained minor scratches.

At 3:11 p.m., a caller reported his vehicle was hit while in a parking lot on Glacier Highway.
