Former Juneau resident Summer Schoenberger and Ezekiel Palma of Pleasanton, Calif., will be married April 6, 2002, in Pleasanton.
The bride is the daughter of Laurie and Jerry Schoenberger of Juneau. She graduated in 1995 from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Colorado State University, where she was a sprinter on the track and field team. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in May, 1999 in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Environmental Education. She now resides in Denver, Colo., and is Program Coordinator at Great Outdoors Colorado, a nonprofit organization that provides grant funds for recreation, wildlife and open space preservation projects.
The groom is the son of Noemi and Adrian Palma of Pleasanton, Calif. He graduated in 1994 from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton and attended St. Mary's College in Moraga, Calif., where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science in May, 1999. He currently resides in Denver, Colo., where he is Financial Services Manager at First Trust Corp.
The newlyweds plan to honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., and then move to the San Francisco Bay area in May, 2002. Summer plans to pursue her M.A. in Public Administration and Ezekiel plans to work for the family business as an Independent Engineering Consultant.
