Juneau resident Patrick Thomas Brokaw, 39, died Feb. 16, 2006, in Juneau.

A private memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 23, at the Glacier Valley Baptist Church, 3921 Mendenhall Loop Road, in Juneau.

He was born June 10, 1966, to Francis and Mary (Walton) Brokaw in Hammond, Ind. He was a printer and carpenter.

Family members said, "Patrick was a loving and adventurous soul that will be missed by all."

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his companion, Laurie Magorty of Juneau; mother of Wills Point, Texas; three brothers, Danny Brokaw of Wills Point, David Brokaw of Dallas and Michael (Tinia) Brokaw of Wills Point; four sisters, Theresa (Gary) Smith of Plano, Texas, Jennifer Henley of Plano, Mary (Charles) Casey of Bauxite, Ark., and Elizabeth (Richard) Bartel of Varna, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family asks that flowers be sent to the Glacier Valley Baptist Church.
