Due to a reporters' error, the Empire article Friday on new UAS degrees misstated the name of one degree. It is a bachelor of science in information systems. Also a quote attributed to Shelley Theno left out a word. The complete sentence is: "It's dedicating yourself to a discipline and owning it."

Due to editors' error, the name of Rhonda Hickok was misspelled in a headline in Friday's Empire.

Due to editors' error, the box on Friday's Neighbor page that gave information about the Women of Distinction dinner gave the incorrect location. It is at Centennial Hall.

Also, an article in Thursday's Empire reported criminal charges against a bookkeeper employed by the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce. In referring to a "chamber bookkeeper," the headline failed to specify that her employer was the state chamber, not the local chamber.
