Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Warna Lee Dawn Bigler, 30, on a charge of drunken driving at 2:20 p.m. Monday on Old Dairy Road and Crest Street near the airport. They impounded the 1989 Ford Aerostar van she was driving and lodged her at the Lemon Creed Correctional Center.

Warrant arrest:

• Police arrested Alfredo Jaimes, 38, on a warrant charging him with an immigration violation. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Troopers reported they are investigating a report from Angoon by a man claiming that money, jewelry and three firearms have been taken from his home during the last three years.


• A day pack containing a video camera, sweatshirt, goggles and waterproof notebook was reported stolen sometime this weekend from the 3000 block of Fish Creek Road on Douglas Island.

• About $2,600 in stereo equipment was reported stolen from a 1992 Chevrolet truck at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday in the 8500 block of Old Dairy Road.

• At 10:52 a.m. Tuesday, the faceplate from a car stereo was reported stolen sometime overnight from an unlocked Subaru Legacy in the 4900 block of Wren Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.


• The back right tire of a 1999 Ford was reported slashed at 2:39 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Second Street in Douglas.

• At 10:34 p.m. Monday, a woman reported that a man broke down the door to a home in the 3600 block of Amalga Street in the Valley.

• The windshield of a 1999 Cadillac was reported damaged at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Traffic accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 59, on a charges of speeding and having an expired vehicle registration after an accident in which the 2002 Toyota sport utility vehicle she was driving struck a guardrail at 7:29 a.m. Tuesday on outbound Egan Drive at Norway Point. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.

Hit and run:

• A parked vehicle was reported struck by a vehicle that left the scene at 4:02 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Fifth Street downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,400.

• An unoccupied Ford Excursion was reported struck by a vehicle that left the scene at 4:48 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Fish Creek Road.

• At 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, a 2001 Volkswagen Golf was reported struck sometime overnight near Harris and Fourth streets downtown.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 1:44 a.m. Tuesday in the 8800 block of Jordan Avenue near the airport after citing the driver, a man, 25, on a charge of driving without a license.
