ANCHORAGE - Four people have died in a house fire in the western Alaska village of White Mountain.

Alaska State Troopers said the dead were White Mountain residents 71-year-old Josephine Lincoln, 51-year-old Frank Oksok- taruk, 43-year-old Dean Lincoln and 24-year-old Patrick Lincoln.

Nome-based trooper Anne Sears said Josephine Lincoln was Patrick Lincoln's grandmother and the two lived at the home. Sears said Dean Lincoln also was related to them.

The village volunteer fire department controlled the fire Friday night, but were unable to enter the home because of the heat and smoke.

Troopers and the state fire marshal's office are investigating the cause of the blaze.
