Due to a reporting error, an article in Friday's Juneau Empire incorrectly characterized preliminary cost estimates for a drunken driving bill sponsored by Rep. Norm Rokeberg. State agencies initially estimated the cost of the original version of the bill at more than $100 million. About $90 million would be a one-time expense to expand the prison system, not a yearly expense.
