Bush's war, not mine

Liberals on watch

I have no idea what Jeremiah Crockroft is trying to convey in his letter about war and liberals.

War is not to be trifled with, and war is not a tool to boost the economy or the ratings of the so-called president. War is a terrible thing that George W. Bush is using for those ends. The ends do not justify the means.

George W. Bush is an installed president. He is not my leader or president.

Is your point that you want conservatives to be able to take credit for killing innocent people in Iraq? Or do you want them to claim that supporting aggression is good for the economy and popularity of W? I'm not sure that I understand your letter.

We should think twice before we bomb Iraq into oblivion. We need to think about the purpose of Bush's unilateral move. Congress supported the war because they were probably worried about not being reelected for fear of being called unpatriotic if they voted against the resolution for war.

The rest of the world does not want us to attack Iraq. Let's show some solidarity and not do something rash.

Liberals and conservatives can take credit for not attacking Iraq and not killing thousands of people.
