Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Driving while intoxicated:

• Donald Dillon, 51, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:37 a.m. Sunday on Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.


• A parked 2007 Dodge Dakota truck was struck by an unknown vehicle in a hit-and-run accident reported at 1:56 p.m. Saturday on Glacier Highway. Damage to the truck was estimated at $2,000.


• A 22-year-old man was cited for driving without a license at 1:23 a.m. Sunday in Lemon Creek. The vehicle was impounded.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 2002 Dodge sustained approximately $500 in damage in a single-vehicle accident reported at 12:15 a.m. Sunday in Auke Bay.

• A 22-year-old man driving a 1991 GMC truck was cited for speeding at 8:16 p.m. Saturday near the Juneau-Douglas bridge, after he caused an accident with a 2005 Ford, driven by a 74-year-old man. Damage to the Ford is estimated at $1,000.

Warrant arrest:

• A 55-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
