Earthquake hits in Aleutian region

ANCHORAGE - A moderate earthquake has hit in the Aleutian Islands.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 5.2-magnitude temblor struck at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday and was centered near the Aleutian's Andreanof Islands, about 30 miles southeast of Adak.

The agency says there was no reports of the quake causing any problems.
