Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


About 5:15 p.m. Monday, a man, 22, was arrested in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. He was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts, lost and found property:

About 9:45 a.m. Monday, a man, 39, reported the theft of an orange Stihl chain saw valued at $200 from the back of a truck parked in a Lemon Creek area parking lot on Friday.

Just before 11 a.m. Monday, a man, 47, reported the loss of his gold wedding band with black inlay and etched cord design.

Shortly before noon Monday, a citizen (no age given) reported the loss of a black Nokia cell phone in the Juneau area within the last three weeks.


Capital City Fire & Rescue responded at 1:35 p.m. Monday to a report of a fire in a residence on Gladstone Street in the Mendenhall Valley. The fire was out on arrival.

Warrant arrests:

Shortly before noon Sunday, Alaska State Troopers arrested a man, 20, on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving without a valid operator's license. He was lodged at state prison.

Shortly before midnight Monday, a man, 42, was arrested by police on an outstanding $500 Alaska State Trooper warrant for non-compliance with substance-abuse treatment on an original charge of drunken driving. The man was additionally charged with resisting arrest. He was lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved.

Hit-and-run incidents:

Shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, a man, 43, reported his 2000 Mazda Protg hit and run in a Lemon Creek parking lot between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle sustained $700 to $800 damage to its right rear quarter panel.

Traffic stops:

At 6 p.m. Monday, a man, 31, was stopped on Alaway Street for driving without a valid operator's license. He was released at the scene.
