Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


Police arrested a man, 32, around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday in the Douglas area for domestic violence assault. He also was charged with interfering with the reporting of a domestic violence crime. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Police believe alcohol was a factor.


A woman reported at 7:41 a.m. Tuesday from Fritz Cove Road that a portable CD player, valued at $65, was stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight.

A cell phone and 25 CDs in a case were reported stolen at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday near Amalga Street from a woman's unlocked vehicle. The items are valued at $325.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A woman reported at 9:16 a.m. Tuesday from Old Dairy Road that a 1998 Toyota 4Runner had been hit by an unknown vehicle while parked between noon and 2:30 p.m. Monday. The vehicle sustained a dent to the quarter panel near the left rear tail light area.

Domestic violence calls: 1.

Alcohol-related calls: 1.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for vandalizing a vehicle parked at the Auke Bay Ferry Terminal. A woman reported Jan. 14 that her Chevy pickup had its hood and grill removed and the passenger door smashed. Additionally, a 10-disc CD player and speakers were removed. Estimated value of the vehicle parts is $2,000. The value of the speaker components is $1,000.
