Police and Fire

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

• A wallet was reported stolen at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday from an unlocked vehicle near the Airport Dike Trail.

• Police arrested a man, 50, for theft of services at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident.

• A purse was reported stolen at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday from an unlocked vehicle parked near Forest Lane.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• The rear window was reported broken out of a 1991 Volkswagen Jetta at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Avenue. Damage is estimated at $300.

• The rear window of a 2001 Chevy was reported broken out at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Avenue in the parking lot of Juneau-Douglas High School.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday near Commercial Boulevard. A purse, containing $100, also was reported stolen from the vehicle.
