Local philanthropic organization to host women's boutique

JUNEAU - Chapter G of the Philanthropic Educational Organization will host a women's boutique and bake sale from 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Parkshore Condo Recreation Room, 800 F St.

The event will feature new and like-new but previously owned formal, business and casual wear, as well as baked goods, jewelry, collectibles and art work. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for women. Two scholarships will go to candidates at the University of Alaska Southeast and one will go to a local high school student.
