FAIRBANKS - Alaska's largest intrastate airline may be growing its Anchorage hub, but the corporate headquarters will remain in Fairbanks.
HoTH Inc. is wrapping up a deal to purchase Era Aviation Inc. this week.
The pending deal comes just over a year after Hageland Aviation and Frontier Flying Service joined forces.
The company operates as Frontier Alaska, which is owned by HoTH Inc. Frontier Alaska will continue being the operator when the Era purchase is complete.
HoTH chief executive Bob Hajdukovich says the company hopes to add flights to the North Slope and that could mean more jobs in Fairbanks.
Once Era is purchased, HoTH expects to have a work force of 700 people and annual revenue exceeding $100 million.
