The Juneau Police Department Thursday afternoon arrested a Juneau man suspected to be involved in an armed robbery on Douglas, according to a release from the department.
JPD apprehended Christopher Williams, 26, after the Juneau Trial Court issued an arrest warrant for him on charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, both felonies. Police found Williams in the Twin Lakes area and took him to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. JPD also impounded the car Williams was driving as evidence.
The police are continuing their investigation into the possibility of a second suspect. The robbery occurred Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of Fourth Street.
