Members of the winning team at the Southeast Regional MATHCOUNTS Competition on Feb. 10 are Dzantik'I Heeni Middle School students, from left: Colter Hanna (first place individual), Ryan McCusker (second place individual), Ryan Doogan (fourth place individual), and Maya Rieselbach (fifth place individual). A total of 25 students from three middle schools competed in the MATHCOUNTS Regional Competition. In addition to the top team, the top two individuals not on the qualifying team will advance to the State Competition, to be held on March 10 in Fairbanks. Those individuals are: Ethan Roemling (third place individual) from Floyd Dryden Middle School, and Elizabeth Ringle (sixth place individual) from Dzantik'I Heeni. The winning team is coached by Dawn Momblow.
