Thank you for Shrine fundraising success

Posted: Sunday, February 28, 2010

A Shrine of St. Therese Endowment Evening Extravaganza was held on Feb. 6 at St. Ann's Hall at the Cathedral of the Nativity. It was an evening of delicious hors d'oevres prepared by Gretchen Pence, Lorraine Derr and their crew.

A special thanks for their hard work seems inadequate. Many wonderful items and experiences such as dinners, desserts, flight seeing and a train ride were auctioned. An event like this is only successful with the help of so many volunteers, donations and bidders.

The shrine board expresses heartfelt thanks to the following businesses and individuals who donated to this event: Alaska Litho, Bear's Lair, Ben Franklin Store, Coastal Helicopters, Eaglecrest, Ed's Edible Landscaping, El Sombrero, Foodland Super Drug, Juanita's Coffee, Knights of Columbus-Bishop Kenny Council 11757, Thibodeau's Liquor, Martha's Flowers, Mount Roberts Tramway, NorthStar Trekking, Nugget Alaskan Outfitter, Rie Muñoz Gallery, The Art Department, Tongass Regional Eye Clinic, White Pass and Yukon Route, Parish Youth Groups, Al and Davida Ahlgren, Cliff and Loretta Beadle, Jack and Margie Beedle, Barbara Bechtold, Sam Bertoni, Mary Brockett, Francis Cassidy, Lynne Clements, Emily Coate, Peggy Corazza, Pat Costa, Pat Crabtree, Leo DeMeo, Lorraine Derr, Audrey Diebels, Jim and Karla Donaghey, Ann Doty, Barbara Duncan, John and Cathy Ellenbecker, Stephanie Forbes, Peggy Garrison, Colleen Goldrich, Gerald Graham Jr., Cindy Hartmann-Moore, Colleen Jardell, Frank Jerue, Dan Johnson, Jack and Jeanne Jordan, Knotty Knitters Group, Mark and Jane Kasberg, Soapy and Jill Lingle, Maria Lisowski, Sharon Lobaugh, Michelle Locks, Jacob Mallinger, Peggy Mattson, Marjorie Menzi, Leroy and Jean Messing, Mike and Marilyn Monagle, Sari Monagle, Cathy Pashigian, Barbara Pavitt, Gretchen Pence, Deacon Charles and Paula Rohrbacher, Elizabeth Rosenberg, Caro Rosier-Polley, Gina Shirley-Potts, Gary and Heidi Stears, Joann Steininger, Mary Stone, St. Paul's Senior Girls, Carl and Maria Uchytil, Denise Van Brocklin, Lynn Van Kirk, Watt Family, Father Thomas Weise and Tony and Lori Yorba.
