Thanks for signing a petition for new idea for Sealaska elections

Posted: Sunday, February 28, 2010

I would like to thank the Sealaska members who signed a petition validating a new election idea for directors.

Michael Beasley has submitted a petition on behalf of the 6,484 shareholders who supported the Term Limits for Sealaska Directors resolution in 2009.

Sealaska shareholders will vote on an amendment regarding director elections. Valid signatures have been received on a petition to place on the 2010 Sealaska Ballot a by-law amendment for shareholder vote.

Proposed by shareholders is a vote on the practice of discretionary voting for Sealaska directors.

Signatures are still arriving. We have enough signatures and do not require more. Again, thank you. We'll see you at the blue ballot.

Michael Lee Beasley

Proponent for fair and clean election for Sealaska directors
