Former Juneau resident Judy Gilmore, 57, died Feb. 14, 2004, at her Sequim, Wash., home after a three-year battle with cancer.
A resident of Juneau from 1977 to 1999, she moved to Sequim with her husband, Keith Gilmore, to enjoy retirement and raise alpacas.
Her family said she very much enjoyed raising their animals and was considered a great resource within the community. They said she will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Keith Gilmore, and two sons, Dane Gilmore of Soldotna and Todd Gilmore of Puyallup, Wash.
Services were private and for family only. Donations are not requested, but can be made to either the University of Washington Cancer Care Alliance or a local hospice chapter.
