Former Juneau resident Patricia 'Pat' Helen Rutan, 73, died Feb. 19, 2004, in Kirkland, Wash.
She was born April 27, 1930, in Seattle. She was a LPN-Nurse for 25 years at Cabrini Hospital in Seattle. She was a 30-year visitor to Alaska. She came often to visit her daughter, Jo Paddock-Betts, and grandson, Bill Paddock, and was well known in Pelican and Juneau. She lived in Juneau in for two years, between 2001 and 2002.
Her family said she was an avid reader and loved to travel.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary (Les) Cruise of Redmond, Wash., Jo (Jim) Paddock-Betts of Juneau, and Angie (Kirt) Collins of Vaughn, Wash.; five brothers; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family services were held in Seattle on Feb. 24.
