Juneau Student Symphony performs 'Fantasia Concert'

JUNEAU - The Juneau Student Symphony will perform its "Fantasia Concert" at 7:30 p.m. March 8 and at 4 p.m. March 9 in the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School commons.

The concert will feature George Frideric Handel's "Hornpipe" from "Water Music," Nikolai Andreyevic Rimsky-Korsakov "Capriccio Espagnol," Edvard Hagerup Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King," and Gustav Theodore Holst's "Mars" from "The Planets." Grieg's and Holst's pieces will be performed to the accompaniment of video art created by the students of the Juneau Summer Fine Arts Camp and produced by Pat Race.

Concerts are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. March 8 and at 4 p.m March 9. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
