HAINES, YAKUTAT - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Haines Health Center will host special Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinics in Haines from March 2 to 6 and in Yakutat from March 9 to 13.
This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments during those dates with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week, March 4 to 6 in Haines and March 11 to 13 in Yakutat.
The clinic is open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the state of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid. Dr. Lee Steinle will lead the pediatric dental team for this clinic, while Lisa Cone will be the dental hygienist in Haines, and Traci Martinson will be the dental hygienist in Yakutat.
Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special clinic should call the SEARHC Haines Health Center at 766-6372 or the Yakutat Community Health Center at 784-3275 to schedule an exam appointment.
