JUNEAU - Gov. Sarah Palin is proposing legislation aimed at jump starting construction of an in-state natural gas pipeline.
Palin sent two bills to the House and Senate on Friday and said she would lay out her plan more completely next week.
The first bill would allow the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority to explore all options for delivering natural gas to Alaskans.
The second bill addresses technical right-of-way issues for pipelines.
Palin says cost estimates and a timetable for work on right of way and permitting will be presented on Tuesday.
