FAIRBANKS - The team of Tyler Huntington and Chris Olds have won the 2,000-mile Iron Dog snowmobile race.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported the pair crossed the finish line in downtown Fairbanks just before noon Saturday.
They pocket $50,000 for the win, plus another $2,500 for being the first team to reach Nome earlier this week.
The race started last Sunday in Big Lake. Racers first drove west to Nome, and then back to Fairbanks for the finish.
