I would imagine that most Juneau folks, whether left, right or middle of the road, abhor the thought of a war with Iraq. In almost any conceivable scenario, thousand of innocents will be injured or killed by explosive, chemical or biological weapons.
But perhaps we should take Mr. Holbert's thought (letter to the editor, Feb. 27) one step farther. Are the ghostly voices of several million Holocaust victims calling to us even now, "Act sooner ... this time?"
I hope we find the facts and the wisdom to make the right call.
