Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:
At about 11:20 p.m. Friday, a 46-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault in the 400 block of Third Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.
Driving without a license:
At about 10 p.m. Friday, a 59-year-old man was cited on a charge of driving without a license on Fourth Street. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
At about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Seth Schmitt, 23, was arrested and charged with drunken driving in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. He was lodged at the state prison and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
At about 2:45 a.m. Saturday, Anthony Nelson, 19, was arrested and charged with drunken driving and driving without a license on West Ninth Street. He was lodged at the state prison and the vehicle was impounded.
At about 1:20 p.m. Friday, a Colby CD player valued at $75 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of St. Anns Avenue.
At about 5:10 p.m. Friday, a 70-year-old man reported the theft of some food in the 8900 block of Birch Lane.
At about 9:30 p.m. Friday, a 2000 Honda driven by a 50-year-old woman struck a guardrail on Egan Drive. The vehicle sustained about $4,000 in damage and was towed from the scene.
At about 10 p.m. Friday, a Honda driven by a 19-year-old woman struck a road sign on Glacier Highway, sustaining about $3,000 in damage.
At about 7:10 p.m. Friday, a 20-year-old woman was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the 9100 block of Black Wolf Way. She was lodged at the state prison.
