JUNEAU - Juneau police arrested Hersey Detron Mitchell, 22, Friday morning on a felony charge of second-degree burglary.
Police said Mitchell was carrying items allegedly stolen from a business in the 5000 block of Glacier Highway when he was arrested walking in the neighborhood at about 4 a.m.
Video surveillance from the business shows Mitchell's participation in the crime, police said.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at the business just before 4 a.m. Friday, where officers found a broken window in the front door. The name of the business was not released.
Mitchell also was charged with third-degree theft and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Both charges are misdemeanors. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional center without bail.
