ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police say an infant reported missing by his parents has been found safe.

Police also have located a woman they call a "person of interest" in the disappearance of 3-week-old Ethan LaCroix.

Lt. Dave Parker says police are interviewing 20-year-old Amelia Cameron.

Parker says the baby was found Sunday in the Fort Richardson area.

An Amber Alert was issued after the baby's parents reported he vanished from their apartment.

Ethan's mother, Elisa LaCroix, told police she put the baby in his bed near an unlocked window at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the father, Kaid LaCroix, checked on the boy an hour later and found him gone.

The couple said they didn't see or hear anything suspicious, and that they believed someone took their son through the window.
